Dance Journey:-

Smt. Rohini Uday commenced her journey in to the realm of dance at the age of 14, ably guided by Guru vidhushi Sharada Manishekhar of Sanatana Natyalaya, Mangaluru. Later she continued her training under the aegis of Guru Dr. Shobhitha Sathish Rao, Vidwan Deepak kumar of Mookambika cultural Academy, Puttur. Her true skills and passion for dance bloomed admirably when she persued her formal classes under Guru Smt. Hema Prabhath, Artistic Directior of Sukriti Natyalaya. Smt.Rohini Uday has been continuing her dance journey for 19 years, getting traning under different Gurus and giving traning to hundred of dance students.

                        She has successfully completed her state junior exam, senior exam and vidhwath exam conducted by the Karnataka secondary education examination board. She has also distinguished herself as a student of carnatic music under the tutelage of Guru Manasa Padyana. She has marked distinction in Junior, Senior and Vidhwath grade exams. Where She is imparting her knowledge of dance to the aspirants. Many of her disciples  has been securing distinction in Junior, Senior and vidhwath grade exams for many years now. The dance students of this charming dance teacher have registered places in the competitions and got awards and prizes in Dakshina Kannada.

Apart from this she is a good yogasana patu and also a trainer of Ghosh (Bandset). She shows her keen interest in Janapada Nrithya, particularly in the folk dance of various states of India. She is a renowned classical and folk dance choreographer and her students presented dance program throughout India. She was felicitated by NHRC for her achievement in the field of Bharathanatyam and the ‘Suma Sowrabha Rathna” Award is presented by Suma Sowrabha Magazine.
